Wary Lotta & the Chamber of Secrets is the first segment of the 9th episode in season 1 of Harvey Street Kids. The title of this episode is a reference to the 1998 book, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

Lotta teaching the parrots to read Gerald's book
The episode begins in a camping tent, where Audrey and Dot are sleeping with Lotta, where the last is writing her love for Gerald in a diary. When she was about to be discovered by her friends, she used it as a toothbrush and left the tent. Lotta's explanation implies that the girls accompanied her because she wanted to have seats in the front row for Gerald's presentation of Harvey Street parrots
When they left, the girls noticed Lotta's strange behavior, but she changes the subject changed when Gerald began his presentation. He mentions that the parrots live at the limits of Harvey Street and that not much information is known about them. He also delivers a book of philosophical reflections signed by himself to Lotta, who receives with appreciation while pushing her friends when trying to get it. Gerald concludes by saying that he will hold a parade called "Parrots are also people" on Harvey Street.
Lotta agrees with the girls that the parrots should learn the phrases of Gerald's book, so they go to a tree at the park entrance to be near them. She tries to teach the parrots, but they only repeat what she says and defecate on purpose over Lucretia's hair, who just wanted to tie her shoes. After a while, the parrots learn to read perfectly from a book, especially understanding the things that Gerald meditated. However, they decided to go further and read Lotta's diary out loud that it was unprotected. Lotta despairs and tries to silence them as she is ashamed that she is the only one with a secret love on the block. She then thinks that Gerald will dishonor her while everyone else laughs at the matter.

Lotta tries to capture them, but they escape while they keep repeating the phrase to annoy her. When the parade was about to begin, it seemed that they had forgotten the phrase but Audrey accidentally remembers them. Lotta therefore wants to make false secrets so that the parrots forget it, whose plan ends up working since nobody believes them. However, one of those false secrets: that girl eats unusual food combos, was true, and he feels offended. Lotta follows him and pretends that she likes that kind of food also in an attempt to please him, but it does not work and ends up revealing her secret to Harvey Street, which the other kids also react by telling their secrets. The episode concludes with Gerald and Lotta forging their relationship, even though they both sweat their hands when they are nervous.
